The way I slowly caress my pencil
and pad from within the comforts of pain
Empowers the connection of my soul
To magnify the delicate strokes on paper
That may or may not be plain
Projected from inside my mind so intact
I thank god for keeping me
from abusing the one thing I own
If nothing else the focus
I remember the time I wrote when
there was no more room to write
I used my might to be polite
and turned over my page
that was not afraid to RSVP
forward me the invite, bonded responding
to thoughts concerned
and my plights succession addicted to
This Perfect Marriage
