A torrential storm
forms in my soul,
Growing more powerful
each time my heart breaks
The storm waters flood my body
and spill out through my eyes
As this is all I can do-
Cry, crying, hoping that
after the storm a rainbow
will peek through the clouds
as I patiently wait
I will only ask once
