Before I rise
I meditate on how much
I'm loved
within my travels
I patiently wait for a sign
before I start to move
seconds passing by
as someone looks up at me
as I rest my rays upon life
existing within this world
perfectly shaped
Cousin of the rainbow
Father of the fertile earth
Mother of beautiful windows
allowing me to shine through
Counselor of comets
and meteors afraid
to fall upon my creations
my children,
born to follow me
before I set
before I sleep
I will never forget to
keep you in my dreams
